Head and tail pulleys in traditional systems are often fully rubber-coated, requiring vulcanization repair when the coating wears. This process typically means removing the pulley and sending it to a vulcanization factory—costly and time-consuming. If no spare pulley is available, production may stop for several days, increasing downtime and labor costs. Our head pulley uses an insertable lagging plate design. The initial installation requires welding the plate, but future replacement is simple: worn plates can be removed and new inserts installed without dismantling the pulley. Secondary replacement usually takes about 30 minutes, significantly reducing maintenance time and operational losses.
